Proactive, not reactive: putting student issues first

One of the greatest threats to our future power as students is the Roth administration's consolidation of its power. If students, as the most vital constituency at this University, are to remain a force for positive change, we must not let the administration dictate the terms of our engagement.

We must define our issues ourselves, and take the offensive. Before the administration tries to take away more student liberties and campus traditions, we must reaffirm their importance and develop effective strategies to preserve them. This will require the active support of the student body, teamed with the proactive leadership of our elected representatives. As your Senior Class Representative, I will work hard to provide that leadership.

We've worked together to achieve victory. Now, let's work together for change.
