The WSA takes on issues that are important for all students at Wesleyan—that's its job as a representative body. But what it doesn't often do, is advocate for students individually. As a result, students with grievances are forced to fight the administration's bureaucracy with neither assistance nor guidance.
We can—and should—change this situation. It's time that the WSA stepped up to aid individual students, not just implement institution-wide policies. When you are dealing with an issue that has wide-ranging implications for the student body, the WSA should want to hear about it.
As your Senior Class Representative, I will:
We've worked together to achieve victory. Now, let's work together for change.
